A leading global consulting firm in Singapore is seeking a Functional/BA (Analyst - Associate Manager) to join its Technology Service Group. The successful candidate will gather and analyze business requirements, conduct functional analysis, and support QA and project management activities. Ideal applicants should have 3–4+ years in public healthcare, strong analytical skills, and proficiency in SQL and Microsoft Office. Qualifications

  • 3–4+ years of experience for Specialist - Associate Manager, preferably in public healthcare.
  • Junior role under 3 years of experience as Analyst - Senior Analyst.

Responsibilities

Accenture is seeking a Functional/BA (Analyst - Associate Manager) to join its Technology Service Group, focusing on clients in the Health & Public Services sector. This role bridges the gap between business needs and technical solutions, combining functional analysis, testing, and project support.

Critical Success Factors

Specialist - Associate Manager (3–4+ Years of Experience):

  • Candidates in senior positions should ideally possess domain knowledge in public healthcare in Singapore, SAP, and/or billing systems, aligned with the project's nature and deliverables.
  • In addition to meeting the baseline expectations of junior roles, senior team members are expected to provide guidance and support to junior team members

Analyst - Senior Analyst (<3 Years' Experience):

  • Junior candidates will primarily support business analysis and functional testing activities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and SQL for daily tasks.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills to work effectively with internal teams and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Functional Analysis:
    Gather and analyze business requirements.
    Translate them into functional specs, user stories, and process flows.
    Act as liaison between stakeholders and technical teams.
    Perform gap analyses and recommend improvements.
    Maintain functional documentation.
  • Testing & QA:
    Develop and execute test plans (system, integration, UAT, regression).
    Manage the defect lifecycle and ensure quality standards.
    Support UAT and facilitate user sign-off.
  • Project Support:
    Assist in deployments and post-go-live support.
    Participate in Agile ceremonies (e.g., stand-ups, planning).
    Contribute to effort estimation and timelines.
    Collaborate with cross-functional, global teams.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business, or related field.
  • Experience in a functional analyst role, with exposure to SDLC and Agile/Waterfall methodologies.
  • Familiarity with tools like JIRA, HP ALM, TestRail.
  • Strong skills in Excel (formulas, pivot tables) and PowerPoint (executive-level presentations).
  • Industry knowledge in healthcare, finance, or public services is a plus.
