Job Description

JOB OBJECTIVES

The Business Analyst - Healthcare will serve as both an implementation specialist and functional consultant, contributing expertise to the planning and successful deployment of clinical or hospital management solutions. The analyst will collaborate with a variety of stakeholders—including clinicians, administrators, and technical teams—to translate healthcare business needs into effective technical solutions, while also supporting ongoing optimization and user adoption.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Maintain a working knowledge of clinical or hospital management solutions, supporting modules such as Patient Administration, Electronic Medical Records (EMR), Scheduling, and Billing.
  • Manage application configurations, customization, and workflows to meet business requirements within healthcare operations.
  • Work closely with clinical and administrative stakeholders to elicit, analyse, and document business requirements for new features, process changes, and system enhancements.
  • Translate business requirements into detailed user stories and acceptance criteria for the implementation team utilizing Agile practices.
  • Bridge communication between business users and technology teams to ensure successful translation of requirements into delivered functionalities.
  • Develop, execute, and validate test plans and scripts for functional and regression testing according to requirements and user stories.
  • Support regular end-user training sessions and develop reference materials to enhance adoption and best practices.
  • Proactively document business processes, solution designs, and lessons learned for future reference and continuous improvement.
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics CRM or Power Platform is an added advantage and will be highly regarded.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Minimum of two years’ experience as a business analyst or consultant in clinical or hospital management system implementations.
  • Strong understanding of clinical workflows, healthcare processes, and regulatory requirements.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools including Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Word.
  • Experience with business process modelling tools such as Microsoft Visio preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; bilingual abilities in the local language will be considered an asset.
  • Certification in healthcare information systems (e.g., HL7, Epic, Cerner, or related) is preferred.
  • Any experience with Microsoft Dynamics CRM or Power Platform will be considered an added advantage.
