Job Purpose

The Business Analyst cum Business SupportAdministrator plays a dual role in business analytics and operationalsupport, enabling data-driven decision-making while ensuring smoothadministrative and business processes.

This role focuses on transforming financial andoperational data into meaningful insights, dashboards, and automationsolutions using tools such as Power BI, Tableau, and Python, whilealso providing structured business and administrative support to management andcross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities
Business Analytics & Finance Support
  • Consolidate and analyze regional financial, operational, and commission data to support management reporting and business decisions.
  • Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI and Tableau to track revenue, costs, commissions, and performance KPIs.
  • Apply Python scripting to automate data extraction, transformation, validation, and recurring reporting processes.
  • Support month-end closing activities by preparing analysis packs, reconciliations, and variance explanations in line with corporate reporting standards.
  • Partner with business stakeholders to translate operational and financial requirements into data models, reports, and insights.
  • Perform cost allocation, revenue tracking, trend analysis, and scenario analysis to support planning and performance improvement.
  • Support audits, compliance reviews, and process optimization initiatives through data validation and documentation.
  • Undertake ad-hoc analytics, reporting, and business support projects as required.
Business Support & Administration
  • Act as a Personal Assistant to the VP/GM, providing proactive and confidential executive support.
  • Manage complex calendars, meeting schedules, and priorities, ensuring effective time, management for senior stakeholders.
  • Coordinate travel arrangements, including flights, accommodation, visas, and itineraries for regional and overseas business travel.
  • Prepare and format management presentations, reports, and briefing materials, including data-backed slides and summaries.
  • Organize and support management meetings, business reviews, and regional calls, including agenda preparation, minutes, and follow-up on action items. Serve as a key point of coordination between management and internal/external stakeholders, ensuring timely communication and issue resolution.
  • Maintain organized and secure records, correspondence, and documentation, with strong attention to confidentiality and version control.
  • Support expense claims, purchase requests, and vendor coordination for management-related activities.
  • Assist with selected HR coordination tasks (e.g. onboarding logistics, leave tracking, documentation) when required.
  • Provide ad-hoc executive and business support as needed to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
  • Data Accuracy & Integrity: ≥99% accuracy in dashboards, reports, and automated outputs.
  • Timeliness of Reporting: All recurring reports and dashboards delivered within agreed timelines.
  • Analytics Adoption: Positive feedback and active usage of dashboards by management and business stakeholders.
  • Process Efficiency: Reduction in manual reporting effort through automation and standardized reporting.
  • Compliance & Governance: Full adherence to internal controls, audit requirements, and Singapore regulatory standards.
  • Stakeholder Satisfaction: Strong internal feedback on quality of insights responsiveness, and business support.
Requirements
  • Diploma or Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Analytics, Data Analytics, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 2–3 years of relevant experience in finance analytics, business analysis, or reporting roles, preferably in an MNC or regional environment.
  • Strong understanding of financial statements, management reporting, and business performance metrics.
  • Hands‑on experience with Power BI and/or Tableau for dashboard development and data visualization.
  • Working knowledge of Python for data analysis, automation, or reporting workflows.
  • Advanced Excel skills (Power Query, PivotTables, formulas); experience with enterprise reporting tools (e.g IBM Cognos) is an advantage.
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into clear business insights.
  • Well‑organized, detail‑oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities under tight timelines.
