About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated Business Analyst (AI & Financial Data Analytics) with strong analytical and technical skills to join our team. This role offers the opportunity to work at the intersection of finance and technology by building AI-driven solutions and managing financial datasets to support strategic investment decisions. As part of our Data team, you will play a key role in designing, implementing, and optimizing data pipelines, AI models, and analytical tools that drive business insights and improve investment performance.

Key Responsibilities

• AI Model Development – Developing and testing AI/ML models to enhance investment analysis and financial decision-making. Support back testing and validation of predictive models for portfolio management and risk assessment.
• Database Management & Analytics – Work with AWS databases to manage, clean, and query large financial datasets. Optimize database queries to ensure efficiency in extracting and processing data. Support integration of financial data into dashboards and reporting tools.
• Financial Research & Insights – Assist in preparing reports, dashboards, and presentations for internal stakeholders.
• Collaboration – Work closely with portfolio managers, analysts, and technology teams to translate business needs into data-driven solutions. Contribute to ongoing projects and propose innovative ideas that leverage AI and automation in finance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
• Relevant experience in financial data analytics or technology roles is a plus.
• Knowledge of SQL (database querying and management).
• Strong foundation in Python for data analysis and AI/ML model development.
• Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills.
• Experienced with Pandas and NumPy for data manipulation and analysis.
• Completed Projects related to machine learning and deep learning concepts.
• Understanding of financial instruments and asset management concepts.
• Familiar with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, or Python libraries like Matplotlib/Seaborn).
• Interest in financial markets, asset management, and technology-driven innovation.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in Mandarin is a plus.
