Qualifications

• Degree in Business, Finance, CS or related field with 4+ years in data management or BA within investment/banking industries.
• Ability to craft user journeys and use cases to guide system design and implementation.

Job description

• Work closely with stakeholders and users to understand, probe, and document business requirements.
• Craft detailed user journeys and use cases to illustrate how different types of users will interact with our systems and data.
• Translate business requirements and user journeys into functional specifications and detailed data requirements.
• Work closely with data engineers to design and implement data solutions that align with the defined user journeys and meet operational needs.
• Ensure user and solution to be developed incorporate data management best practices on top of user requirements.
• Conduct data analysis to ensure data quality and consistency, and to validate that the implemented solutions meet user needs.
• Develop and maintain documentation, including data dictionaries, process flows, user journeys, and project plans.
• Assist with data governance and data management initiatives.
• Monitor system performance and work with data engineers to manage any necessary system enhancements or fixes, ensuring that changes align with the defined user journeys.
• Work closely with data engineers and relevant parties to ensure sprints are planned out properly and completed in timely manner.
• Perform BAU monitoring, investigations, and resolutions.

Skillset Requirements:

• Possess a degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science, or related field with at least 4 years of hands‑on experience in data management or business analyst role within investment and banking industry.
• Experience in crafting user journeys and use cases and using them to guide system design and implementation.
• Proficiency in SQL, Python and experience with other data analysis tools.
• Excellent communication skill, with the ability to translate complex data concepts into understandable terms for non‑technical stakeholders.
• Strong problem‑solving skill and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
• Good at working with details and is meticulous for operations.
• Good understanding on data modelling, data integration.
• Experience in SDLC methodology and/or Agile methodologies like Scrum and Kanban.
