We are seeking a driven and detail-oriented Business Investment Analyst to join our investment team. This is an exciting opportunity to work closely with senior management and play a key role in investment research, evaluation, and portfolio management across global markets and multiple asset classes.
Key Responsibilities
Direct Business Investment Focus
- Conduct macro-level industry and market research to identify investment opportunities
- Develop business investment strategy with key stakeholders to ensure investment alignment is on track
- Prepare business investment memos and support full due diligence process, ensuring all relevant factors are considered.
- Managing multi business investment projects and work closely with key stakeholders to develop the business structure
- Evaluate business investment opportunities by building financial models and conducting valuation analysis.
- Monitor and manage performance of existing portfolio companies, ensuring alignment with investment objectives.
- Collect, update and analyse data; perform financial modelling and track model accuracy by comparing projections with actual financial outcomes
Requirements
- Bachelor or master’s degree of Economic, Finance, business or MBA
- Minimum 2 years’ experience
- Preferred experience in one or more of the following sectors: Information Technology, Ceramic Tiles, Building Permit or Wholesales Building materials, Renewable Energy, E-Commerce etc.
- Experience with business investment project management & development with business analysis mindset and knowledges.
- Familiarity with financial analysis and business investment strategies – good technical and comfortable with number crunching
- Proficiency in Excel; Bloomberg, FactSet, and Python is preferred.
- Highly analytical, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities under tight timelines.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Strong ownership and interpersonal abilities to follow up and develop investment project
- A proactive team player with the ability to manage multiple priorities and trading strategies.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
- Professional English is required; German and Chinese will be considered an advantage.
