Job Purpose:
The Business Analyst serves as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, driving improvements in operational efficiency and decision-making through data analysis, process optimisation, and digital tools.
Key Responsibilities:
- Gather and analyse business requirements through workshops, interviews, and documentation review.
- Translate business needs into functional specifications and process flows.
- Collaborate with IT and development teams to implement solutions aligned with business goals.
- Conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and validate system deployments.
- Monitor system performance and recommend enhancements.
- Prepare reports and dashboards for management using Power BI.
- Facilitate stakeholder communication and manage expectations.
- Support change management and training initiatives.
- Contribute to project planning and implementation.
- Ensure business processes and systems comply with IT security policies and standards.
- Manage vendor relationships, including coordination, performance tracking, and ensuring service delivery aligns with business requirements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or related field.
- 0–5 years of experience in business analysis or similar roles.
- Fresh graduates with strong analytical and technical skills are encouraged to apply.
- Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall project methodologies.
- Experience in IT environments, preferably within enterprise systems.
Technical Skills:
- Excel: Proficient in advanced Excel functions including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data modelling, and charting.
- Power BI: Skilled in building interactive dashboards and visual reports.
- Power Automate: Able to design and deploy automated workflows to streamline business processes.
- Dynamics 365 (Optional): Experience working with Microsoft Dynamics 365 for CRM or ERP is a plus.
- IT Security Awareness: Understanding of cybersecurity principles, data protection, and compliance requirements. Ability to identify risks and ensure secure handling of business data.
