Job summary

TALENT LEGAL GLOBAL SEARCH CONSULTANCY (PTE.) LTD. is seeking a Business Acceptance Officer in Central Singapore to support onboarding through rigorous verification and risk assessment. The role focuses on ensuring adherence to internal policies and regulatory requirements within a professional services environment.

You will conduct detailed checks, document findings, and maintain records for audits and governance purposes while coordinating with key stakeholders to mitigate risks.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Business or Finance studies from a reputable educational institute.
• 1–2 years of relevant CDD or compliance experience, preferably in professional services or law.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to liaise with stakeholders and business partners.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate onboarding of new businesses by performing verification checks.
• Conduct background checks and resolve potential conflict-of-interest issues.

Our client, a Well-established Global firm is seeking to recruit a Business Acceptance Officer to join their growing team.

Location: Central Singapore

Responsibilities

• To assume a critical role in facilitating the onboarding of new businesses, through performance of verification checks
• To conduct background checks, and resolve potential conflict-of-interest issues
• To ensure compliance is in adherence to the internal policies and external regulations
• To conduct risk assessment by escalating high risk findings to the management team
• Maintain accurate records in the client intake system, support periodic audits, compliance reporting, and policy updates
• To undertake other related tasks as required

Requirements

• Degree or Diploma in Business or Finance studies from a reputable educational institute
• Possess at least 1 to 2 years of relevant CDD or compliance experience, preferably in a professional services or law firm
• Strong communication skills, with ability to liaise with key stakeholders and business partners effectively
