Redstone Commodity Search are working with an international physical bunker supplier looking to hire an experienced bunker trader to join their team in Singapore.

Key Responsibilities

• Actively seek new clients while managing and maintaining relationships with existing accounts.
• Stay informed on the latest developments and trends in the bunker and shipping markets.
• Handle daily brokering and trading of marine fuels for clients, ensuring competitive rates that benefit both the company and clients.
• Collaborate with the team, reporting to a line manager, and manage any disputes or claims, including assisting with legal actions when necessary.
• Role reports to local desk head

Key Qualifications

• 3+ years in sales/trading within the marine fuels sector, ideally with prior experience working within a physical supply organisation
• Demonstrable experience of success in the bunker trading industry.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and negotiating skills (English a necessity, other languages – E.g. Mandarin - welcomed).
• Organizational skills are essential, along with the ability to manage CRM (Customer Relationship Management) systems and general administrative tasks.
• Role located in Singapore
