Job summary
A property management company in Singapore is seeking a Facility Maintenance Technician to ensure the optimal operation of M&E services in their buildings. Responsibilities include routine inspections, minor repairs, and timely assistance to tenants. Candidates should have at least one year of experience in facility maintenance and be comfortable with a rotating shift schedule, including weekends and public holidays.
Qualifications
- NITEC in Building Services / Engineering or equivalent.
- Min one year experience in Facility Maintenance.
- Comfortable with rotating shift, 6 days' work week, and to work on weekends and public holidays.
Responsibilities
- Ensure the M&E services of the building are at optimal level.
- Maintain M&E systems and civil aspects according to SOPs.
- Render service assistance to tenants timely.
- Conduct routine inspections on electrical and plumbing systems.
- Perform minor repairs for sanitary and plumbing works.
- Attend to building defects and breakdowns as requested.
- Write daily reports on activities and irregularities.
- Conduct troubleshooting during maintenance activities.
- Work with contractors for servicing and emergency repair.
- Perform any other tasks assigned by management.
Job Scope
- To ensure the M&E services of the building are in optimal operational level
- To ensure the M&E systems and Civil aspects of the building are maintained in accordance to SOPs and contractual terms
- To ensure service assistance is rendered to tenants timely
- Carry routine inspection on electrical, air-conditioning systems, chilled-water systems and plumbing in the building
- To carry out minor repair for sanitary and plumbing works, electrical works and building works
- Attend to building and tenants’ defects and breakdowns as requested
- Write daily reports and reports on activities and irregularities such as equipment or property damage, or breakdown occurrences
- Perform trouble shooting and equipment failure check during scheduled and unscheduled maintenance activities
- Contact and work with contractors for routine servicing and emergency repair
- Any other task as assigned by immediate supervisor/management
Key Qualification
- NITEC in Building Services / Engineering or equivalent
- Min one year experience in Facility Maintenance
- Able to carry out with the task given
- Comfortable with rotating shift, 6 days' work week and to work on weekends and public holidays
