Job description

This role is responsible for supporting building maintenance in defects checking and rectification works upon request or whenever necessary.

About the Role

• Provide instruction and work with technicians to carry out planned preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance, and repairs as instructed by the Engineer.
• Enforce and check general housekeeping and tidiness of the workplace and workspace.
• Attend to TAM cases assigned by the Engineer on-site, carrying out permanent rectification or temporary repairs/fixes (when necessary) within the given time.
• Assist the Engineer in following up on outstanding issues passed down.
• Be required to come on-site if urgent issues arise.
• Maintain good physical condition and strength.
• Respond quickly in the event of an emergency, notify appropriate personnel, and follow safety protocols.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and follow specified procedures.
• Ability to work well with minimal supervision and with technicians.
• Able to lead the team in the absence of a supervisor.
• Able to support events with a dynamic work schedule.
• Able to supervise contractors for any repair work and project work.
• Monitor and report on the performance of maintenance activities to ensure compliance with standards.
• Develop and implement maintenance procedures and best practices.
• Ensure all maintenance activities are documented accurately and timely.

About You

• NITEC/HIGHER NITEC/Diploma in Electrical / Mechanical / Mechatronic Engineering/ Facility Management
• 1 to 3 years of experience in building/ facilities servicing and maintenance.
• Able to write and communicate in English.
• Team player, independent and quick learner.
