Job summary

A leading construction management firm in Singapore is looking for a Project Manager to oversee M&E works in building projects. The ideal candidate has at least 8 years of relevant experience within the Singapore construction industry and a diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering. Key responsibilities include project planning, supervision of in-house teams, and coordination with various stakeholders. Proficiency in AutoCAD is required. This role offers opportunities to manage significant projects with a focus on quality and safety.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of relevant Singapore-based working experience in the building construction industry.
• Proficient in project cost analysis and tender bidding.
• QP/PE, Green Mark manager, or other relevant certifications is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Oversee project planning and execution within time and budget.
• Manage in-house MEP design works and coordinate across multiple trades.

Job description

Responsibilities

Oversee project planning, schedule and executing the delivery of projects within time, budget and Employer expectation.

Analyse, manage and track project costs again budget.

Manage in-house MEP design works, including basic design, detailed design, shop drawing and BIM coordination.

Coordinate with architecture, C&S and Process, ICA and other trades.

Attend technical and site coordinate meetings with Employer, Consultants, Main Contractor and other contractors.

Assess and resolve any technical or site issues related to M&E works with Consultants and Employer.

Oversee construction activities by In-house installation teams, site safety, arrange timely delivery of M&E equipment and materials.

Carry out testing and commissioning, combined services testing for TOP/CSC.

Handover of completed work activities with as built drawings and O&MM to respective authorities or clients to in timely manner and delivery with desired quality standards and safety aspects.

Participate in tender preparation for new projects.

Qualifications

• Min Diploma Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering with Building Service M&E background
• Min 8 years of relevant Singapore-based working experience in building construction industry
• Proficient in AutoCAD
• Excellent project management skills, including the ability to manage timelines, budgets, and resources effectively
