About the role

Sodexo Singapore Pte Ltd is seeking a skilled Facilities Technician to join our team in Singapore. In this full‑time role, you will be responsible for the day‑to‑day maintenance and upkeep of our client's facilities, ensuring a safe, comfortable and efficient environment for all occupants.

What you'll be doing
  • Perform preventative and reactive maintenance on building systems and equipment, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing and other mechanical components
  • Respond promptly to facility‑related issues and requests, troubleshooting and resolving problems in a timely manner
  • Conduct regular inspections and identify any areas requiring repair or improvement
  • Maintain detailed records of all maintenance activities and work orders
  • Collaborate with external contractors and vendors to coordinate larger‑scale projects or specialist work
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety and environmental regulations
  • Support the Facilities Manager in the day‑to‑day operations of the site
What we're looking for
  • Relevant technical qualification in facilities management, building services or a related discipline
  • Minimum 2 years' experience as a Facilities Technician or in a similar hands‑on maintenance role
  • Strong working knowledge of building systems and equipment, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing and mechanical components
  • Excellent problem‑solving and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to work independently to identify and resolve issues
  • Good communication skills to liaise effectively with a range of stakeholders, from building occupants to external contractors
  • Ability to work efficiently and prioritise tasks in a fast‑paced environment
  • Commitment to health and safety, with a focus on maintaining a safe working environment
