About the role

Sodexo Singapore Pte Ltd is seeking a skilled Facilities Technician to join our team in Singapore. In this full‑time role, you will be responsible for the day‑to‑day maintenance and upkeep of our client's facilities, ensuring a safe, comfortable and efficient environment for all occupants.

What you'll be doing
  1. Perform preventative and reactive maintenance on building systems and equipment, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing and other mechanical components
  2. Respond promptly to facility‑related issues and requests, troubleshooting and resolving problems in a timely manner
  3. Conduct regular inspections and identify any areas requiring repair or improvement
  4. Maintain detailed records of all maintenance activities and work orders
  5. Collaborate with external contractors and vendors to coordinate larger‑scale projects or specialist work
  6. Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety and environmental regulations
  7. Support the Facilities Manager in the day‑to‑day operations of the site
What we're looking for
  1. Relevant technical qualification in facilities management, building services or a related discipline
  2. Minimum 2 years' experience as a Facilities Technician or in a similar hands‑on maintenance role
  3. Strong working knowledge of building systems and equipment, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing and mechanical components
  4. Excellent problem‑solving and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to work independently to identify and resolve issues
  5. Good communication skills to liaise effectively with a range of stakeholders, from building occupants to external contractors
  6. Ability to work efficiently and prioritise tasks in a fast‑paced environment
  7. Commitment to health and safety, with a focus on maintaining a safe working environment
