Job summary

A leading property and infrastructure group in Singapore is seeking a Building Manager responsible for managing the Engineering department and M&E service contractors. You will support the Senior Property Manager in building maintenance, ensure compliance with local codes, and prepare management reports. Candidates should have a background in building operations and strong management skills. This role offers opportunities for professional development and flexible working arrangements.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Senior Property Manager in building maintenance and operations.
  • Work with the Compliance Manager to ensure M&E efficiency and compliance.
  • Prepare monthly management reports.
  • Develop a strong and efficient operational team.

Familiarity with Green Mark Building Requirement
ACMV Knowledge
Knowledge of FSSD code
Familiarity with local code of practice for various M&E trades
Familiarity with submission procedures to authorities

The Building Manager reporting to the Senior Property Manager is responsible in managing the Engineering department and all M&E service contractors to ensure the smooth and efficient running of Paya Lebar Quarter.

In this role as a Building Manager, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to;

  • Support the Senior Property Manager in aspects of building maintenance and to ensure the smooth operation of the centre in aspects such as preventive maintenance schedules, performance of all service contractors, and implementation of company’s policies.
  • Work closely with the Compliance Manager to ensure the centre’s M&E meets the required efficiency and complies with all local codes and authorities regulations
  • Prepare monthly management reports / documents.
  • Staff Development and create a strong and efficient operation team

To be a success in this role it is desirable, but not essential to have;

  • Familiar with Green Mark Building Requirement
  • ACMV Knowledge
  • Familiar to FSSD code / Knowledge will be an added advantage
  • Familiar with local code of practice for various M&E trade and local authorities regulation
  • Familiar with submission procedures to various authorities
  • Financial Management skills including budgeting and forecasting will be an advantage
