Job summary

A facility management company in Singapore is seeking a skilled Facilities Manager to oversee building operations and maintenance services. The ideal candidate will have at least 7 years of experience in a commercial environment and hold relevant degrees and certifications. Responsibilities include assisting in the management of building services, conducting inspections, and liaising with stakeholders. Strong leadership and communication skills are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 7 years of experience in managing commercial / retail MCST environment.
  • Professional certifications such as bizSAFE Level 2, CERT training or WSQ Implement Incident Management Processes.
  • Knowledge of electrical, mechanical, building structure and ACMV.

Responsibilities

  • Assist property manager in maintaining building services and preparing reports.
  • Conduct inspections to address maintenance issues.

Job Descriptions

  • Assist property manager, maintain building services, prepare reports, organize event support, liaison with stakeholders.
  • Main contact point for tenants, vendors, and stakeholders to address inquiries, complaints and maintenance requests promptly.
  • Conduct inspections of the building to identify and address maintenance issues or areas for improvement.
  • Perform administrative tasks such as preparing reports, maintaining records and managing tenant documentation.
  • Support the property manager with preparation and execution of council, annual general, and sub-committee meetings.
  • To perform other job related and ad hoc duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

  • Degree in Building, Facilities Management, Real Estate, Electrical or Mechanical and Air-Conditioning Engineering or equivalent.
  • Professional certifications such as bizSAFE Level 2, CERT training or WSQ Implement Incident Management Processes is a MUST.
  • At least 7 years of working experience in managing commercial / retail MCST environment.
  • Electrical, mechanical, building structural and ACMV knowledge is a distinct advantage.
  • Good knowledge of building maintenance
  • Conversant with local codes of practice and regulations.
  • Mature and independent with ability to lead team.
  • Good leadership, interpersonal and communication skills.
