Job Description

We are seeking a BIM Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and managing BIM models for our construction projects, ensuring accuracy in technical drawings, and collaborating with project teams to enhance efficiency and coordination.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain BIM models for various projects in accordance with industry standards.
  • Create and update technical drawings and 3D models using Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD.
  • Coordinate and integrate BIM models with project teams, consultants, and contractors.
  • Ensure BIM models are compliant with project requirements and Building and Construction Authority (BCA) regulations.
  • Assist in clash detection and resolving design conflicts using BIM software.
  • Generate shop drawings and detailed construction documentation.
  • Provide technical support to project teams and site personnel regarding BIM-related matters.
  • Maintain an up-to-date library of BIM objects and project-related documentation.
Requirements
  • Diploma or Degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Construction, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, and Navisworks.
  • Experience in BIM modeling for structural or architectural components.
  • Understanding of Singapore construction standards and BCA BIM guidelines.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work within tight deadlines.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with engineers and project stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in working with ALC panels or other precast construction materials.
  • Knowledge of Green Building practices and sustainability requirements.
  • Familiarity with Common Data Environment (CDE) platforms.
