Job summary

A construction company in Singapore is seeking a Site Supervisor to manage daily construction operations, ensure compliance with standards, and coordinate with various stakeholders. Job Desctiption & Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate daily construction site activities and workforce operations.
  • Ensure that construction work complies with approved plans, specifications, and quality standards.
  • Monitor project progress and prepare regular status reports for management.
  • Coordinate and schedule work with subcontractors, suppliers, and other site personnel.
  • Inspect work to ensure compliance with building codes, safety standards, and project requirements.
  • Manage material deliveries, site logistics, and inventory to avoid delays.
  • Enforce safety procedures and conduct regular safety meetings and inspections.
  • Identify potential problems or delays and take corrective action to keep projects on schedule.
  • Communicate effectively with engineers, architects, project managers, and clients.
  • Maintain site documentation, including daily reports, timesheets, and incident logs.
  • Tender coordination including compilation of tender documents and ensure all mandatory documents are completed, accurate for submission tender.
  • Management of foreign workers affairs and social activities.
  • Perform tender measurements and quantity take-offs, verifying construction quantities against drawings and specifications to support tendering, cost estimation, and project valuation processes.
  • Attend and resolve residents’ complaints or feedback promptly and professionally, ensuring minimal disruption and maintaining positive community relations.
Qualifications and Skills:
Education:
  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (preferred).
Experienced:
  • Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in building construction supervision or a related field.
  • Proven experience in residential, commercial, or infrastructure projects.
Technical Skills:
  • Strong understanding of construction drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
  • Knowledge of building codes, construction methods, and safety regulations.
  • Proficiency in project management and site reporting software (e.g., MS Project, AutoCAD, Excel).
Soft Skills:
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple teams and tasks simultaneously.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety.
Working Conditions:
  • Based primarily on-site at active construction locations.
  • May involve working outdoors in various weather conditions.
  • Requires wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • May include extended hours or weekend work depending on project needs.
  • Able to work under pressure and work independently.
  • Be willing to travel and transport to any project site across Singapore as required by project assignments and company needs.
