Job summary

The National University of Singapore invites applications for a Creative Visual Designer to establish and maintain the visual identity of the NUS School of Computing across digital and print platforms.

You will conceptualise materials for outreach, collaborate with research clusters and faculty, and provide photography or video editing support, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines and contributing to flagship campaigns.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in visual communications, graphic design, or related field.
• 3–5 years of relevant design experience.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating branding and storytelling.
• Proficiency with Canva and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain a visual identity and brand for the NUS School of Computing across digital and print platforms.
• Conceptualise and design visuals for digital and print materials.
• Collaborate with research clusters, programme leads, and faculty ambassadors to translate ideas into visuals.
• Provide creative direction for flagship campaigns and media engagement initiatives.
• Ensure alignment with brand guidelines while developing the School's design identity.
• Liaise with vendors for production of physical materials (brochures, banners, merch).
• Support events with custom visuals and branding materials.
• Provide photography and video editing support where required.
• Maintain a library of branded templates and assets for consistent use.
• Participate in strategic communications planning and contribute design for campaigns.
• Support Communications with other design-related tasks as needed.
