Job summary

HRNET Ventures Pte. Ltd. is hiring a Retail Associate for a well-established bookstore in Singapore. You will welcome customers, recommend books and merchandise, and help keep the store running smoothly.

You will handle cashier duties, assist with promotions, stock checks, inventory, and ensure shelves are neat. Weekend and public holiday availability is required; prior retail experience is welcome but not essential.

Qualifications

• Service-minded with good communication skills.
• Responsible, organized and attentive to detail.
• Willing to learn and contribute to a team.
• Retail or cashiering experience is welcome but not required.
• Available to work weekends and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Deliver friendly service and assist customers with their purchases
• Provide product recommendations for books, stationery and merchandise
• Operate the cashier and process payments accurately
• Support promotions and work towards store sales targets
• Ensure shelves are replenished and products are displayed neatly
• Conduct stock checks and assist with inventory tasks
• Maintain store cleanliness and organization
