Job summary

HRnetVentures Pte Ltd is seeking Cashiers / Retail Assistants to join our well-established bookstore team in the North-East. You will operate cashier/POS systems, assist customers, handle payments, and help with stock replenishment in a fast-paced setting.

The role offers a starting salary of SGD 2,350 per month, staff discounts and medical benefits. Weekend/public holiday work and the October–mid-January peak period are required, with immediate start preferred where possible.

Qualifications

• Preferably 1 year or more of full-time retail experience.
• Retail, bookstore, customer service or hospitality experience is an advantage.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Customer-oriented, reliable and responsible.
• Able to commit to weekends, public holidays and the October–mid-January peak period.
• Candidates who can start immediately or within a short notice period are highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate cashier/POS systems and process customer transactions accurately.
• Handle cash and various payment methods.
• Assist customers with enquiries and provide friendly customer service.
• Support stock replenishment, stocktaking and general store operations.
• Maintain a clean, organised and welcoming store environment.
• Assist with daily outlet operations and other duties assigned by the Store Manager.
