Job description

Contract Period: 1 Jan 2026 to 31 Dec 2028 (36 months)

Scope of Requirement:

1. To review the current financial records including (a) the Chart of Accounts, (b) Statement of Income & Expenses, (c) Statement of Financial Position, (d) Bank Reconciliation Statements, & (e) Financial Analysis, Schedules, & Related Reports
2. To review the current document records of transactions and activities that has financial impact including (a) invoices raised, (b) application for grants, (c) expense and costs reimbursement claims, (d) official receipts, (e) bank‑in slips, (f) payment vouchers, (g) petty cash vouchers, (h) unpaid vendor’s invoices, and (i) contracts & agreements.
3. To review the current book‑keeping approach, method, and processes.
4. To share observations and recommendations upon completion of the above reviews.
5. To customise the chart of accounts and financial reports to meet the requirements of the School.

Qualification:

The qualified person should have a professional certification in accountancy, such as Chartered Accountant of Singapore or degree in Accountancy recognised by the Accounting and Corporate Regulatory Authority of Singapore (ACRA).

Experience:

The qualified person shall have at least 3 years of experience in providing similar services to a government-aided school in Singapore.

Track Record:

The qualified person should provide a list of experience in relevant areas from 2023 to 2025.
