Job description

Our client, a well‑known M&E Sub‑contractor in the construction industry, is looking for candidates for the position of BMS Engineer.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrated experience in developing BMS (Building Management System) designs in collaboration with vendors, including the selection of appropriate instrumentation and formulation of effective control strategies, in close coordination with the internal M&E team.
• Proven ability to manage the complete lifecycle of BMS installations, from hardware and software deployment to on‑site instrumentation setup and commissioning.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants and subcontractors to ensure timely and compliant project delivery according to specifications.
• Experienced in conducting system testing, troubleshooting, and functional performance verification alongside with vendor.
• Provide technical support, handover documentation and end‑user training.
• Ensure BMS systems compliance with regulatory standards and project specifications.
• Identify and implement energy‑saving and system optimization opportunities
• Proficient in ACMV system controls and electrical interlocking system.

Requirements

• Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or a related field
• Minimum 1‑2 years of experience handling building management systems (BMS) in a sub‑contractor environment
• Possesses technical/hands‑on experience with BMS
• Experience in BMS Coordination
• Ability to work with a team
• Good communication skills
