Job summary

Testing Site - JPMC is seeking a Blockchain Intelligence Vice President to lead threat detection and on-chain security across the firm's blockchain footprint. You will identify threats, guide incident response, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to strengthen the security posture.

The role requires 5+ years in cybersecurity threat intelligence, deep expertise in SIEM and analytics, and a track record of building scalable security operations for on-prem, cloud, or hybrid environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Data Science or related disciplines.
• 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity threat intelligence or operations, with focus on threat detection, incident response, and security infrastructure management.
• Expertise in multiple security domains, including network security, malware analysis, threat hunting, and security architecture and design, with proficiency in SIEM tools and advanced analytics.
• Advanced knowledge of network and infrastructure configuration/security for on‑prem, cloud, or hybrid environments.

Responsibilities

• Execute and influence the design of comprehensive security and threat intelligence strategies to enhance threat detection and protect digital assets, smart contracts, and blockchain infrastructure from cybersecurity threats.
• Monitor and analyze on-chain and off-chain data to identify vulnerabilities and compromises, using advanced tools to detect anomalies and support incident response.
• Produce actionable threat intelligence products including IOC development, exploit analyses, and threat actor tracking to inform detection engineering and security operations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure a coordinated approach to blockchain and enterprise security, sharing threat intelligence insights across the organization.
• Stay current with industry trends, emerging on-chain threats, threat actor TTPs, and regulatory requirements to drive innovation and process improvements.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Data Science, or related disciplines
• 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity threat intelligence or operations, with a focus on threat detection, incident response, and security infrastructure management
• Demonstrated expertise in multiple security domains, including network security, malware analysis, threat hunting, threat intelligence production, and security architecture and design, with proficiency in using Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) tools and advanced analytics techniques
• Advanced knowledge of network and infrastructure configuration/security, including experience in designing and implementing security solutions for on-prem, cloud, or hybrid environments

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

• Familiarity with broader blockchain security concepts such as consensus mechanisms, smart contract vulnerability classes, blockchain threat actor landscape and multi-chain monitoring approaches is a plus
