The role involves inspiring students with stimulating learning experiences across IGCSE and IB Diploma levels, both in and beyond the classroom, upholding safeguarding standards. The successful candidate will collaborate with the ESS Department to plan, deliver and assess learning, support SEN/ESL learners, and participate in school initiatives and pastoral care.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field is required; Master’s degree preferred.
• Degree in Biology or Environmental Science is also required.
• Experience with IBDP/IGCSE is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Identify and adopt effective active teaching approaches aligned with SJII ethos.
• Collaborate with faculty on curriculum planning and assessment standards.
• Create stimulating learning environments with student work displays.
• Teach across Foundation IGCSE to IB Diploma Programme; IBDP/ALevel experience is an advantage.
• Utilize resources beyond Singapore to enrich learning.
• Support SEN/ESL learners in line with policy.
• Ensure health and safety rules in classroom.
• Attend parent conferences and report progress.
