Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in bioinformatics, Biomedical Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.
• 0 to 2 years of experience in a related field.
• Experience with statistical modelling using human health cohorts is an advantage.
• Proficiency in Python, R, or related languages; familiarity with AWS cloud computing.
• Proactive mindset with a strong drive to learn and implement emerging statistical methods.
• Excellent organizational abilities, sharp attention to detail, and strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Apply advanced statistical and computational methods to analyse large datasets spanning longitudinal lifestyle markers, genomics, and cardiovascular disease markers.
• Implement effective data management and analysis pipelines across clinical, multi-omics, and wearable data within a hybrid AWS cloud environment.
• Identify patterns, correlations, and predictive insights to assess patient risk stratification and disease progression.
• Contribute to progress reports, presentations, and manuscript preparation.
• Present research findings in conferences.
• Collaborate closely with the wider research team to ensure high-quality, timely project delivery.
