Job summary

Binance is a leading global blockchain ecosystem with a mission to increase financial freedom. The Risk AI DS team builds risk-detection models on large-scale user data to detect anomalies and improve security.

You will work on end-to-end project streams, processing billions of records with PySpark, Hive, and Trino, and develop robust SQL pipelines for feature engineering and validation. The role emphasizes building ML models and translating results into business metrics.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related quantitative field.
• Strong foundation in machine learning concepts, with proficiency in Python and SQL.
• Familiarity with databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, or MongoDB.
• Comfortable working with large-scale datasets; experience with Apache Spark is a plus.
• Proficient in leveraging AI coding agents, such as Claude Code or Cursor, to accelerate development and improve productivity.
• Proactive and detail-oriented, with a strong instinct for investigating data anomalies and identifying root causes.
• Bilingual English/Mandarin is required to effectively coordinate with overseas partners and stakeholders.
