The role involves conducting QA/QC on models, producing deliverables for design, and providing technical guidance to junior modellers. Candidates should have a degree/diploma in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering and proficiency in Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, and MS Office, along with 4 years of experience in BIM coordination. Qualifications

• Bachelor/Diploma in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent M&E work experience.
• 4 years of full-time experience in BIM interfacing and coordination, preferably with A1 Main Contractors or Consultants.

Responsibilities

• Create BIM content and production documents for BIM-assisted projects
• Perform QA/QC on modeller & consultants’ models to ensure alignment with VDC/IDD standards
• Produce BIM model deliverables for design, documentation, and fabrication purposes
• Prepare BIM documentations and shop drawings directly from models
• Interpret engineering drawings and update Consultant’s RFI to reflect design intent
• Liaise with project team for shop drawings production
• Create and update 3D families for project use
• Identify issues for BIM Engineer where discrepancies occur during design production
• Prepare models for clash detection coordination
• Share knowledge and technical information with team members
• Provide technical guidance and act as advisor to junior modellers
• Ensure compliance with workplace safety and health regulations, aiming for zero accidents
• Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned

Requirements

• Bachelor/Diploma in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent M&E work experience
• Proficient in Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, and MS Office
• Experience in 4D and 5D model creation
• Experience in infrastructure projects is an added advantage
• 4 years of full-time experience in BIM interfacing and coordination, preferably with A1 Main Contractors or Consultants
