Job summary

A leading civil engineering and construction firm in Singapore seeks a BIM Modeller to create BIM content and ensure quality and compliance in models. The ideal candidate possesses at least 4 years of experience with BIM, is proficient in Revit and AutoCAD, and has a strong understanding of MEP systems. This role requires good English communication skills and adaptability in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Proven track record with at least 4 years of full experience with BIM.
• Experience with 4D and 5D model creation is preferred.
• Experience with Infrastructure Projects will be an added advantage.

Job description

• Overall responsibility is to create BIM content and production documents for the purpose of delivering a BIM assisted project.

• Perform QA/QC on modeller & Consultants’ models for alignment with organisation VDC/IDD standards

• Proficient with C&S/ Archi / M&E 3D Models

• Produce BIM model deliverables for design, documentation and fabrication purpose

• Familiar with BIM documentations and shop drawings directly from the models

• Interpret engineering drawings and updates of Consultant’s RFI to reflect the design intent

• Liaise with the team for production of shop drawings

• Creation and update of 3D families

• Creation of BIM models with the correct parameters and attributes for achieving 4D Simulation & 5D Cost Management

• Identify issues for BIM Engineer where discrepancies occur during design production.

• Prepare models for Clash Detection Coordination

• Participate in knowledge and information sharing with other team members.

• Act as a technical advisory to junior modeller(s) within the organisation

Requirements

• Higher Nitec Architectural Technology or Structural Engineering/ Diploma in Engineering or BIM

• Proven track record with at least 4 years full experiences with BIM, preferably from A1 Main Contractor or Consultants

• Must be proficient in Revit, Navisworks, Auto Cad & MS Office

• Have basic knowledge of usage of Dynamo & Civil3D

• Have experience with 4D and 5D model creation

• Knowledge with Tekla structures is a must for Civil projects

• Good command of spoken and written English

• Highly adaptable, flexible personality who embraces teamwork, but also enjoys working independently.

• Experience with Infrastructure Projects will be an added advantage.
