Job summary

Tong Bee Construction Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking an electrical and building services draftsperson to design and draft electrical and building services drawings using AutoCAD and BIM tools, coordinating with engineering teams and stakeholders to meet project requirements.

You will update drawings for site and vendor modifications, attend meetings with consultants and contractors, and ensure compliance with applicable codes and regulations throughout the design and documentation process.

Qualifications

• Familiar with 3D modelling tools for design visualization.
• Experience with 3D BIM modelling in Autodesk software for integration.

Responsibilities

• Draft and design routing for electrical building services drawings using AutoCAD to produce clear and accurate plans.
• Prepare detailed design and working drawings, including schematic diagrams and single-line diagrams.
• Coordinate with engineering teams to ensure work aligns with drawing specifications and project requirements.
• Update drawings to reflect site and vendor modifications for accurate As-Built documentation.
• Attend meetings with consultants and contractors to discuss project progress and resolve design issues.
• Maintain and update all drawing files, making corrections as directed by Section Heads or Leads.
• Coordinate drawings with clients and main contractors, updating based on meetings and ensuring compliance with regulation codes and practices.
• Utilize BIM documentation and shop drawings derived directly from 3D models to enhance project accuracy.
• Apply knowledge of electrical standards and building regulations to ensure compliance throughout design and documentation processes.
