Job summary

A leading energy consultancy company in Singapore seeks an experienced BIM Specialist to manage and modify existing BIM models while ensuring compliance with design specifications. The ideal candidate has at least 5 years of experience, particularly with LTA projects, and possesses strong skills in Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD. You will communicate actively with design teams and coordinate with service contractors, ensuring that project requirements are met. This role is crucial for maintaining project accuracy and quality.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience, preferably with LTA projects.
• Proficient in Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD.
• Understanding of specifications, drawings, and scope of work.

Responsibilities

• Modify existing BIM and update to reflect as-built conditions.
• Extract 2D drawings from BIM for design and construction.
• Check drawings against BIM model and resolve discrepancies.
• Prepare materials for submission and ensure BIM compliance.
• Coordinate with service contractors on BIM requirements.

Job description

• Modify existing BIM (Revit) and updating BIM in detail to capture not only design update but as-built condition
• Extract 2D drawing (AutoCad) from BIM for design and construction upon request
• Check drawings compared to BIM model and raise queries to resolve the discrepancies in between drawings, as well as those arisen during the design progress project execution
• Prepare material for submission and ensure BIM submission according to Archi/ Civil design with architect and system-wide service contractors
• Coordinate with service contractors (including Archi consultant) on project to ensure compliance with BIM requirement and attend to System-wide Contractor (SWC) coordination meetings
• Actively communicate with design team member
• Assist Design manager on the tasks assigned

Requirements

• Min. 5 years of relevant working experience, preferably with LTA projects
• Must have good knowledge in Autodesk Revit and 2D and 3D CAD drafting based on AutoCAD
• Good knowledge in AllPlan would be advantageous
• Understand the specifications, drawing, scope and sequence of work
• Team player with good inter-personal skills
