Job summary

A leading construction firm in Singapore is seeking a BIM Specialist to construct and update 3D BIM models, generate 2D drawings, and assist coordinators in design matters. Candidates should have a diploma in a relevant field and at least 2 years of drafting experience. Proficiency in AutoCAD and BIM 3D Modeling is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of working experience in drafting for Architectural / Structural / Plumbing / Mechanical Trades.
• A good knowledge of AutoCAD and BIM 3D Modelling.

Responsibilities

• Construct 3D BIM models and prepare drawings for submission to BIM Manager.
• Update the 3D model according to the latest information provided.
• Generate 2D drawing, PID tagging, documentation, and As-Built BIM.
• Conduct BIM coordination including clash detection.
• Build-up and enhance BIM objects and templates for the Company.
• Prepare BIM models and/or drawings for tender including quantity take-off measurement.

Job Description

• To construct 3D BIM models and prepare drawings for submission to BIM Manager and consultant using the BIM software.
• Update the 3D model according to the latest information provided and ensure the accuracy of shop drawings.
• Generate 2D drawing, PID tagging, documentation, and As-Built BIM and detailing submission.
• Conduct BIM co-ordination with other disciplines such as clash detection, etc.
• Build-up, update, and enhance BIM objects, families, and other related templates for the Company.
• Develop virtual mock-up for modular design.
• Prepare BIM models and/or drawings for tender, including quantity take-off measurement.
• Assist the coordinators and BIM Manager on design and drafting matters.

Job Requirements

• Diploma in Architecture/Engineering/ Construction, Specialist Diploma in BIM or equivalent
• Minimum of 2 years of working experience in drafting for Architectural / Structural / Plumbing / Mechanical Trades is required.
• A good knowledge of Auto-cad and BIM 3D Modelling is required.
