Job summary

A leading engineering solutions firm in Singapore is seeking a skilled BIM and CAD Drafter to handle BIM modelling and drawing tasks for ELV systems. You will utilize Revit, Navisworks, and AutoCAD, ensuring consistency and constructability in designs. The ideal candidate will have a diploma or higher, at least three years of relevant experience, and strong communication skills. This role plays a vital part in project coordination and completion.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Responsible for BIM modelling and CAD drawing works for ELV systems.
• Utilize Revit, Navisworks, and AutoCAD for 3D modelling and clash detection.
• Update BIM models based on technical inputs from the ELV Engineer.
• Participate in multidisciplinary BIM coordination meetings.
• Manage version control of models and drawings.
• Support project handover with accurate as-built BIM models.

Job description

Roles & Responsibilities

• Responsible for BIM modelling and CAD drawing works for ELV systems, including construction drawings, shop drawings, and as‑built drawings.
• Utilize Revit, Navisworks, and AutoCAD to perform 3D modelling, clash detection, and design coordination optimization.
• Update BIM models and drawings in a timely manner based on technical inputs provided by the ELV Engineer, ensuring design consistency and constructability.
• Participate in multidisciplinary BIM coordination meetings (M&E, Architectural, Structural) and implement coordination outcomes accordingly.
• Manage version control of models and drawings, maintain submission records, and track consultant reviews and approvals.
• Support project handover by delivering complete and accurate as‑built BIM models and record drawings.
• Provide IFC and/or COBie deliverables in accordance with project or consultant requirements, where applicable.

Job Requirements

1. Diploma or above; majors in Information Technology, Communication Engineering, or related fields are preferred.
2. At least 3 years of experience in BIM and CAD drafting.
3. Familiar with the business models and technological trends in ELV (Extra‑Low Voltage) systems, ICT, IDC, and network communications.
4. Excellent cross‑cultural communication skills, with strong abilities in cross‑disciplinary collaboration, reporting, and coordination.
