Job summary

A leading M&E contracting company in Singapore is seeking candidates to produce accurate 2D drawings from BIM models, ensuring adherence to project standards. Applicants should have a degree in Engineering or Architecture and at least 2 years of experience in space planning and design coordination. Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD is essential. This role is primarily focused on new commercial build projects, with a 5-day work week.

Qualifications

• Preferably with a minimum of 2 years of working experience in space planning and design coordination.

Responsibilities

• Produce 2D drawings from BIM models according to project standards.
• Maintain the BIM Register following ISO Standards and ensure timely completion.
• Perform drawing backups and housekeeping in the directory.
• Ensure compliance with the Shop Drawings Standard Operation Procedure.
• Work under the supervision of the Project Manager.

Overview

My clients are established M&E contractors, strength in acmv and electrical.

Openings x 3

Majority commercial New build projects. 5days week

Responsibilities

• To produce 2D drawings from BIM models with accuracy ensuring drawings produced are according to the Project or the Client’s Drafting Standards and Procedures, and that the drawing submission schedule is achieved.

• BIM Register following the company’s ISO Standards and Procedures and ensuring all the drawings are completed on schedule or promptly.

• Perform regular drawing backups and housekeeping work in the directory

• Responsible for ensuring full compliance with the company’s Shop Drawings Standard Operation Procedure, including adherence to design provision/scope of work according to contractual obligations.

• Work under the supervision of the Project Manager and perform the work tasks assigned.

Qualifications / Experience

• Degree/ Diploma in Engineering or architectural.

• Preferably with a minimum of 2 years of working experience in space planning, and design coordination, preferably on different scales of projects within engineering design consulting business.

• Having good knowledge of software such as Revit, and AutoCAD.
