Job summary

A leading BIM consultancy in Singapore is looking for a BIM Modeller to support their design drawings production department. The successful candidate will produce high-quality shop drawings and ensure timely submissions. You must have a background in Architecture, Mechanical, or Civil engineering, along with 2 years of drafting experience. Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit is essential. Qualifications

• Candidate must possess either a Degree/Diploma/Technical certificate of equivalent in Architecture/Mechanical/Civil.
• A minimum of 2 years of working experience in drafting for Architectural/Structural/Plumbing/Mechanical trades is required.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD and Revit 3D modelling is required.

Job Description & Requirements

The BIM Modeller supports design drawings production department in 2D and 3D for BIM submission, drawings coordination between Architectural / Structural / Mechanical trades in 2D and 3D for BIM submission. The incumbent is to train, QC and provide technical guidance to junior draftsman / junior modeller when required.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• To produce quality output of shop drawings with minimal supervision
• Accountable for the timely submission of shop drawing in 2D and 3D for BIM submission
• Ensure content’s accuracy and fluent presentation in shop drawings
• To ensure strict compliance of system on shop drawings
• To handle multiple project simultaneous
• To raise issue with superior on deviation from original design intent
• To sketch, build and generate schematic with in-house software
• To check and coordinate with Architectural / Structural / Mechanical service in 2D and 3D for BIM submission
• Maintain smooth communication to the supervisor and to all co-workers

JOB REQUIREMENTS
