Overview
BIM Modeler
We are seeking a proficient and detail‑oriented BIM Modeler to join our team in Singapore. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining BIM models (architectural, structural, M&E or other disciplines as relevant), producing shop and construction drawings, coordinating with project teams, and ensuring BIM deliverables meet required standards and timelines.
Responsibilities
- Develop, update and maintain 3D BIM models using Autodesk Revit (or equivalent BIM software) based on contract/architectural/engineering drawings.
- Produce 2D documentation (plans, sections, elevations, details) derived from BIM models.
- Generate shop drawings, fabrication details, as‑built drawings, and construction deliverables.
- Perform clash detection, resolve model conflicts and interface issues between disciplines (architecture, structure, M&E, etc.).
- Coordinate with internal and external project teams (architects, engineers, contractors, consultants) to incorporate revisions, RFIs, and design changes.
- Ensure compliance with project BIM Execution Plans (BEP), company BIM standards, LOD (Level of Detail) / LOI (Level of Information) requirements.
- Extract quantities, parameters, and data from models for cost estimation, material take-offs, and reporting.
- Conduct quality checks and validation of models/drawings.
- Support technical and BIM coordination meetings and site visits (as required).
- Assist in tender submissions, drawing reviews, and documentation handovers.
Qualifications
- Diploma, Specialist Diploma, or Degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Building Services, or a related field.
- At least 1 to 4 years of relevant BIM / modelling experience in Singapore / SEA region (or infrastructure / building projects).
- Strong proficiency in Autodesk Revit; experience with Navisworks, AutoCAD, BIM 360 or other BIM tools is a plus.
- Familiarity with local BIM practices, workflows, and standards (Singapore / BCA) is advantageous.
- Good understanding of building systems (structural, architectural, M&E) and the ability to interpret engineering drawings.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to liaise with multidisciplinary teams.
- Self-driven, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks under deadlines.
- (Optional / Preferred) Experience with Dynamo, scripting, or BIM automation workflows.
