Job description

Responsibilities

• On-Site BIM Implementation: Collaborate closely with the Project BIM Manager and construction teams to facilitate the on-site implementation of BIM processes. Ensure seamless coordination of 3D models and BIM data to support construction planning and execution.
• Model Coordination: Conduct regular clash detection analyses on BIM models to identify and resolve coordination issues. Collaborate with design and construction teams to address clashes and optimize construction workflows.
• BIM Data Management: Assist in the organization and management of BIM data relevant to the on-site construction phase. Ensure the accuracy and completeness of BIM models, drawings, and associated documentation.
• Collaborative Communication: Facilitate effective communication between on-site personnel, BIM managers, and design teams. Act as a liaison to resolve coordination challenges promptly and foster a collaborative BIM environment.
• Training and Support: Provide on-site training and support to construction teams on BIM tools and coordination workflows. Address and resolve BIM-related issues encountered during the construction process.
• Quality Assurance: Assist in the implementation of quality assurance processes to ensure compliance with BIM standards and project specifications. Conduct regular reviews of BIM models for accuracy and completeness.

Job Requirements

• Degree or Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical or Building Services Engineering, or a related field.
• Formally trained in BIM (Diploma or Training certification), preferably with at least two (1) year of BIM coordination or BIM management experience in a design, engineering or construction firm or a large project.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in BIM management, with a focus on on-site implementation.
• Proficient in BIM software, including but not limited to Revit, Navisworks, and AutoCAD.
• Experience in clash detection and resolution workflows.
• Familiarity with LTA project requirements and a solid understanding of the specific demands of transportation infrastructure projects in Singapore.
• Proven experience working on construction sites, with a deep understanding of on-site challenges and dynamics.
• Excellent communication skills in English, with the ability to effectively convey BIM-related concepts to on-site teams.
• Strong interpersonal skills to foster collaboration among diverse project stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and address coordination challenges effectively.
• Proactive mindset to anticipate and resolve potential BIM-related issues.
• Ability to adapt to evolving project requirements and changes in construction plans.
