Job summary

NKH Building Services Pte. Ltd. seeks a BIM Coordinator to support the BIM Manager in implementing BIM requirements and workflows across projects. You will coordinate BIM activities with project managers, engineers, and site teams, and maintain BIM models per project standards.

You will create, update, and manage 3D models using Revit MEP and AutoCAD, participate in coordination meetings, troubleshoot issues, and ensure models reflect latest drawings and site conditions.

Responsibilities

• Assist the BIM Manager in implementing BIM requirements.
• Coordinate BIM activities with project managers, engineers, site teams, and stakeholders.
• Maintain project BIM models per standards.
• Participate in BIM coordination meetings and report progress.
• Identify modelling/coordination issues and follow up actions.
• Create/update M&E BIM models using Revit MEP and related software.
• Develop 3D models from drawings and site conditions.
• Ensure models reflect latest drawings and revisions.
• Assist in construction sequencing and installation planning.
• Support preparation of shop/coordination drawings.
• Utilize AutoCAD and Revit MEP for modelling and drafting.
• Use Navisworks for clash detection and coordination.
• Maintain BIM libraries and templates.
• Export BIM models/drawings in required formats.
• Troubleshoot BIM issues and escalate when needed.
• Keep up with BIM software features to improve efficiency.
• Ensure model elements and drawings are accurate and coordinated.

Job description

• Assist the BIM Manager in implementing BIM requirements and workflows for projects.
• Coordinate BIM activities with project managers, engineers, site teams, and other relevant stakeholders.
• Assist in maintaining project BIM models in accordance with project requirements and company standards.
• Participate in BIM coordination meetings and provide updates on modelling and coordination progress.
• Assist in identifying potential modelling and coordination issues and follow up on the necessary actions.
• Attend to M&E work-related work orders within the stipulated time frame to meet customers’ requirements.
• Create, update, and maintain M&E BIM models using Revit MEP and other relevant BIM software.
• Develop and update 3D models based on approved drawings, design information, and site conditions.
• Ensure BIM models are updated according to the latest drawings, revisions, and site information.
• Assist with construction sequencing, installation planning, and other BIM-related requirements.
• Support the preparation of shop drawings, coordination drawings, and other BIM-related deliverables.
• Utilize software such as AutoCAD and Revit MEP for modelling, drafting, and coordination.
• Use Navisworks or equivalent software for model coordination and clash detection.
• Maintain BIM libraries, templates, families, and other relevant BIM resources.
• Assist in preparing and exporting BIM models and drawings in the required formats.
• Troubleshoot basic BIM modelling and software-related issues and elevate technical issues where necessary.
• Keep updated with relevant BIM software features and workflows to improve work efficiency.
• Ensure model elements, drawings, dimensions, annotations, and other information are accurate and properly coordinated.
• Identify discrepancies between drawings, BIM models, and site conditions and report them to the relevant parties.
• Maintain proper records of BIM models, drawings, revisions, and coordination updates.
• Assist in preparing as-built BIM models and documentation upon project completion.
• Support the BIM Manager in implementing improvements to BIM processes and workflows.
• Undertake any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by management.
