Overview
The company is a subsidiary of a major state-owned enterprise, established to focus on Building Information Modeling (BIM) and infrastructure technology solutions. It plays an active role in large-scale public sector projects, including water treatment facilities, tunnelling works, and new MRT construction lines. They are considered a sub contractor and works like a system integrator. You will be deployed on various projects, permanent role;
Work Location: Main office - west region of singapore, Project site: Tuas/East
Responsibilities
- Prepare project models and construction documents using BIM software.
- Establish project workflows throughout all project phases.
- Set up and administer BIM projects, ensuring smooth operations.
- Coordinate site activities and ensure effective communication among all parties involved.
- Prepare and update Revit Models, including coordination drawings.
- Develop 4D shop drawings and as-built drawings.
- Liaise with the Project Document Controller for accurate data transfer.
- Collaborate with subcontractors, consultants, and other stakeholders to resolve technical issues, coordinate drawing production, and ensure data transmission.
- Ensure timely completion of drawing production and site progress as per detailed schedules.
- Implement quality management processes, analyze results, and create action plans for continuous improvement.
- Supervise site works to meet quality and Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) requirements.
- Manage inspections and the handover process, aiming to achieve customer satisfaction and high Conquas/QM score.
- Collaborate with project stakeholders to create 4D models.
- Guide and mentor junior staff.
- Handle ad-hoc tasks assigned by the Project Manager necessary for project execution.
Requirements
- Degree or Diploma in Electrical/Mechanical/Civil/Architectural Engineering or relevant field.
- Relevant working experience in the construction industry or BIM certification.
- Minimum 2 to 3 years of experience in BIM.
- Proficiency in BIM, Bentley, OpenPlant projects , Revit MEP, AutoCAD, and MS Office.
- Ability to read and interpret drawings.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Positive working attitude and a strong team player.
- Experience in implementing BIM processes in large construction projects from tender to project completion is advantageous.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision, meeting project deadlines.
- Self-driven with a keen eye for detail.
