Job description

Job Responsibilities

• Prepare and modify detailed production drawings (Tender/Construction Drawings) using AutoCAD.
• Create 2D and 3D presentations and design drawings.
• Finalize AutoCAD models and ensure they meet Singapore’s established standards.
• Coordinate with consultants, project teams, and sub-contractors regarding drawings.
• Deliver BIM projects including BIM services, implementation, consultation, and training (may involve attachments at client offices/sites or Aptiv8 HQ).
• Create, amend, and manage BIM drawings/models independently.
• Generate required information from BIM software.
• Liaise and coordinate with project stakeholders to resolve discrepancies.
• Identify and highlight drafting errors to the project team immediately.
• Collaborate closely with Project Managers to ensure drawings/models meet site requirements.
• Learn and adapt to multi-disciplinary BIM work across architecture, structure, MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, and Sanitary).
• Support multiple projects, ensuring timely deliveries of BIM outcomes.
• Generate documentation and shop drawings from the BIM model.
• Engage in design, coordination, and BIM development according to client specifications and regulations.
• Work with Revit families (.rfa).

Candidate Requirements

• Minimum Nitec/Diploma in Building Drafting/Engineering or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of relevant experience in the field.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Experience with commercial projects/Interior Design/Architectural Drawings/M&E/C&S or building projects.
• Competency in BIM/Revit is an advantage.
