Job summary

A leading commodity trading company in Singapore is looking for an Accounting professional to manage accounts receivable and payable functions, assist with financial reports, and perform bank reconciliations. Proficiency in English and Mandarin, along with a background in accounting or finance, is required. This position entails working in a fast-paced environment and contributing to monthly tax calculations and GST submissions.

Qualifications

• Proficient in English and Mandarin Chinese, both spoken and written.
• Experience in the international commodity trading industry preferred.
• Available to commence on short notice is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accounts receivable and payable functions.
• Assist with month-end closing preparation.
• Perform monthly bank reconciliation for all accounts.
• Assist in preparing estimated tax provision calculations.
• Quarterly GST submission.
• Ad-hoc duties assigned by Accounts Manager.
