About the Role

We are looking for a strategic and experienced Bid Proposal Manager to lead complex airport infrastructure bids exceeding $100M. This role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and the ability to manage cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality proposals that meet client expectations and company standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and coach a team of 3–5 engineers during the bid phase.
  • Manage the end-to-end bid process, ensuring timely and compliant submissions.
  • Interpret RFPs and translate client requirements into tailored technical and commercial solutions.
  • Collaborate with Sales Layout Engineers and Consultants to conceptualize compliant designs.
  • Estimate material and labor costs using historical data and stakeholder input.
  • Present bid materials for internal approval and client review.
  • Mentor new employees and interns, fostering professional growth.
  • Conduct post-project cost analysis to refine future estimates.
  • Support business development efforts and contribute to account growth.
  • Provide technical training and gather customer feedback for product/service improvement.
  • Use technical knowledge of product/service offerings to support and build sales.
Qualifications & Skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
  • 5–10 years of relevant experience in bid management or sales engineering.
  • Proven experience in material handling baggage systems and familiarity with the latest technologies.
  • International project experience, preferably in Europe and the United States.
  • Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • High emotional intelligence and the ability to work independently.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and proposal software.
