As a Manager, Bid Commercial, you will be responsible for reviewing bid financials, developing cost/pricing models, preparing P&L and cash flow analyses, and ensuring pricing aligns with corporate targets. Skilled in coaching bid teams, supporting credit checks, and responding to customer commercial clarifications. Proven ability to manage multiple deals, deliver robust bid governance reviews, and contribute to the development of bid management best practices. Proficient in Microsoft Office, with strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills, ideally within IT or multinational environments.

What will you do?

Financial Review & Risk Assessment

Review bid financials, assumptions, and provide financial/risk assessments to bid approvers

Provide guidance on corporate finance guidelines

Support bid teams in initiating credit checks on partners, subcontractors, and clients

Commercial Analysis & Pricing

Interpret bid commercials to identify pricing/investment strategies

Prepare “what-if” analyses to determine final target prices

Deliver cost/pricing models and assumptions

Prepare P&L and cash flow in relation to proposed payment milestones

Convert cost/pricing to client-format pricing tables

Ensure proposed pricing aligns with bid strategy and target margins

Respond to customer commercial clarifications

Coaching & Team Support

Coach bid teams to prepare bid financial summaries, P&L, and cash flow

Conduct internal coaching sessions for junior commercial analysts

Governance & Process Improvement

Prepare bid governance finance reviews

Participate in department/division/group/corporate initiatives to enhance bid management processes and best practices (Bid Management Centre of Excellence)

Deal Management & Performance Support

Support multiple deals in the commercial aspect to enable approvers (Directors, Partners, CxOs) to make business decisions

Perform commercial analyst role for high-value deals

The ideal candidate should possess:

Strong analytical and financial modeling skills

Experience in bid management, commercial analysis, and pricing

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to coach and guide teams on financial and commercial aspects

Knowledge of corporate finance guidelines and governance best practices

Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel and PowerPoint

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
