Job description

Responsibilities

• Deliver structured classes in the classical dance form Bharatanatyam to students at beginner, intermediate and advanced levels.
• Maintain syllabus and lesson plans tailored to the school’s curriculum.
• Choreograph performances for internal recitals & external events
• Mentor students on technique (adavus, mudras, abhinaya, rhythm), stage presence, and performance readiness.
• Monitor student progress, provide feedback and recommend improvements.
• Coordinate with other instructors, music accompanists and the administrative team to ensure smooth class operations.
• Participate in workshops, outreach programmes, and special events as required.

Requirements

Must have completed Arangetram and any formal certification in Bharatanatyam and Carnatic Vocals

Minimum experience of 5 years in training students in Bharatanatyam and Carnatic Vocals
