Position Overview
The Beverage Manager is responsible for leading and overseeing all beverage operations across the Mount Faber outlets Dusk Restaurant & Bar, Mirabilis Bar, Arbora / Arbora Café @ Mount Faber Peak, and Sky Dining. The role ensures consistent product quality, exceptional guest experiences, and operational efficiency through effective beverage program management, cost control, staff training, and team leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and ensure smooth beverage operations across all Mount Faber outlets and Sky Dining.
- Uphold company SOPs to maintain high standards in beverage preparation, presentation, and service.
- Develop and maintain innovative beverage menus aligned with each outlet’s concept and guest profile.
- Collaborate with chefs, marketing, and suppliers to design seasonal menus, beverage pairings, and promotional drinks.
- Introduce creative and sustainable beverage initiatives to enhance the guest experience.
- Manage beverage cost of goods (COGS) and profitability targets for all outlets.
- Analyze sales data and recommend strategies to improve beverage revenue performance.
- Lead, train, and motivate bar and service teams on beverage knowledge, mix, and upselling techniques.
- Identify and develop high-potential team members for future leadership roles.
- Ensure all operations comply with liquor licensing laws, safety, and hygiene regulations.
- Partner with Marketing to conceptualize and execute beverage promotions, campaigns, and events.
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Hospitality, F&B Management, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in beverage or bar operations, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
- Strong knowledge of cocktails, wines, spirits, and coffee operations.
- Proven track record in beverage cost control, supplier management, and menu development.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
- Creative, detail-oriented, and passionate about delivering premium guest experiences.
- WSQ Food Hygiene certification and WSET or equivalent beverage qualifications preferred.
