Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Beauty Therapy or related discipline.
• Professional certification or recognized training in beauty therapy, skincare or aesthetics.
• Minimum 3-5 years of relevant professional experience in beauty therapy or skincare.
• Demonstrated experience performing professional beauty and skincare treatments.
• Strong knowledge of skincare products, treatment procedures and hygiene standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform professional facial, skincare, body and other beauty treatments per protocols.
• Conduct client consultations and assess skincare and beauty needs.
• Recommend treatments and aftercare based on client requirements.
• Develop personalized treatment plans and monitor progress.
• Provide guidance on skincare routines and product recommendations.
• Maintain accurate client records and follow up appropriately.
• Maintain high hygiene, safety and professional conduct during treatments.
• Mentor junior therapists and support service standards.
• Contribute to development of beauty service offerings and keep up with industry trends.
• Handle client feedback professionally and assist with service quality improvements.

Job description

We are seeking an experienced and professionally qualified Senior Beautician / Beauty Therapist to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering advanced beauty and skincare services, conducting client consultations, developing personalized treatment recommendations and maintaining high professional standards in beauty therapy and customer care.

The position also involves supporting junior therapists, maintaining treatment standards and contributing to the development of the company's beauty service offerings.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform professional facial, skincare, body and other beauty treatments according to established treatment protocols.
• Conduct detailed client consultations and assess individual skincare and beauty needs.
• Recommend appropriate treatments, skincare program and aftercare based on client requirements.
• Develop personalized treatment plans and monitor clients' treatment progress.
• Provide professional advice on skincare routines, treatment maintenance and appropriate beauty products.
• Maintain accurate client treatment records and ensure appropriate follow-up.
• Maintain high standards of hygiene, safety and professional conduct during all treatments.
• Evaluate and recommend improvements to treatment procedures, service standards and customer experience.
• Assist in introducing and evaluating new beauty treatments, products and techniques.
• Guide and mentor junior beauticians and therapists in treatment procedures and service standards.
• Support the management team in maintaining consistent service quality across the business.
• Handle client feedback and assist with resolving treatment-related concerns professionally.
• Keep abreast of developments in professional beauty therapy, skincare products and treatment techniques.
• Perform other duties relevant to the senior professional role as reasonably required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent recognized qualification in Beauty Therapy, Cosmetology, Aesthetics, Dermatology, Skin Science, Hospitality Management, Business Management or a related discipline .
• Professional certification or recognized training in beauty therapy, skincare or aesthetics.
• Minimum 3-5 years of relevant professional experience in beauty therapy, skincare or a related field.
• Demonstrated experience performing professional beauty and skincare treatments.
• Strong knowledge of skincare products, treatment procedures, hygiene standards and client consultation.
• Experience mentoring junior therapists or supporting treatment/service standards will be an advantage.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and customer-service skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a professional team.
• Willingness to work according to the business's roster, including weekends and public holidays where required.
