Job summary

S.H.S THE HAIR SALON in Singapore is seeking a service-oriented beauty assistant to deliver professional hair, nail and makeup services while maintaining organized retail areas and providing exceptional customer care.

You will greet walk-in customers, conduct basic beauty services, assist with stock management, and help create a welcoming, clean, and efficient salon environment for clients and colleagues.

Qualifications

• Completed primary/secondary education or equivalent (N/O level, certificate, or Nitec).
• Ability to converse in English or Mandarin to communicate with customers.
• Well-groomed appearance with a friendly, customer-focused attitude.
• Strong communication skills and teamwork to support customer engagement.

Responsibilities

• Deliver beauty and hair services including eyebrow trimming, facials, and makeup to meet customer needs


• Perform manicure and pedicure services, including nail SPA and treatments, ensuring high-quality care


• Attend to customer enquiries and provide clear, helpful retail assistance to enhance customer satisfaction


• Greet walk-in customers, assess their needs, and offer appropriate beauty and retail solutions


• Conduct stock takes, pack stock, and organize inventory to maintain efficient retail operations


• Perform housekeeping duties in assigned work areas to ensure a clean and safe environment

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Completion of at least primary/secondary school or ‘N’ or ‘O’ level, Professional Certificate, or Nitec in any field


• Ability to converse in English or Mandarin to communicate effectively with customers
