Job Summary:

As a Bartender one of your goals is to provide an excellent guest drinking experience. Being a good Bartender you must be able to create classic and from sultry to innovative drinks exceeding customers’ needs and expectations.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Prepare alcohol or non-alcohol beverages for bar and restaurant patrons according to recipes and customer preferences;
  • Interact with customers, present menus, take orders and serve snacks & drinks;
  • Assess customers’ needs and preferences and make recommendations;
  • Conduct opening and closing duties, including setting up of the bar;
  • To collaborate with the management on beverage programme planning and designing of the bar menu;
  • Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies;
  • Keep the bar area organized;
  • Stay guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experience;
  • Manage the bar’s inventory, including restocking liquor, mixers, and garnishes;
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards;
  • Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system to process transactions accurately and efficiently following the SOP;
  • Comply with all food and beverage regulations and when necessary to check customers’ identification and confirm that they are of legal drinking age; and
  • Any other duties as required by the Company or management.
Requirements
  • Minimum Diploma or equivalent
  • At least 2-3 years of relevant proven experience in food and beverage services as a Bartender
  • Proficient in cocktails/mocktails mixing, garnishing, and serving customers.
  • Working knowledge of various computer software programs (MS Office, restaurant management software, POS, InfoGenesis, etc.) and able to perform cashiering duties
  • Positive attitude and excellent communication skills
  • Able to create a beverage programme suitable to the outlet’s concept and maintain a seasonal or signature cocktail menu to enhance the bar’s beverage offerings.
