Job summary

Keong Saik Bakery Pte Ltd. is seeking a friendly Front-of-House team member to join our Luzerne location and ensure a welcoming guest experience while supporting cafe operations. You will greet customers, gain product knowledge to introduce items, keep bread and cake displays fully stocked, and update stock on the POS.

Qualifications

• Customer service oriented with ability to greet guests warmly.
• Willingness to take initiative and build rapport.
• Basic knowledge of products to suggest items.
• Ability to maintain cleanliness and inventory on display.
• Able to work with barista duties and coffee preparation when needed.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide friendly guest experience.
• Know products to introduce to customers.
• Keep bread and cake displays stocked at opening and during hours; update stock on POS.
• Perform barista duties: calibrate and maintain coffee standards; prepare beverages for preorders.
• Suggestive selling and promote promotional items.
• Prepare food items and packing for takeaway; rotate with FOH staff.
• Pack morning pastry preorders on rotation.
• Maintain cafe cleanliness: wipe displays/doors, tidy tables.
• Wash dishes.
• Sweep and mop floor.
• Any other duties as required by the Company.
