The Banquet Executive works closely with the Director of Banquet to perform office administrative functions and operation service tasks for all Banquet Department and ensures that all SOP standards are met.

Responsibilities
  • Monitor restaurants and banquet operations stocks and inventory such as menus and tent cards, ensuring they are in good condition for use.
  • Transmit orders or decisions taken by the Banquet Manager promptly to team members, including the execution of all in-house and third‑party outlets’ promotions or corporate initiatives.
  • Organize and file all banquet documents for easy retrieval when needed for queries or reports.
  • Ensure service delivery standards are in line with SOPs, carrying out audits and follow‑ups.
  • Handle banquet services and provide relevant correspondence for guest queries.
  • Maintain familiarity with Banquet Operation functionality and related tasks.
  • Participate and assist the Banquet Manager in all relevant department meetings.
  • Ensure compliance with all company and local laws for banquet services, including licensing maintenance and renewals.
  • Monitor and take corrective action to reduce waste, misuse and breakage.
  • Work with procurement for Restaurants and Banquet Operations on all operation‑related items and ensure they are within budget through the MPS system.
  • Provide administrative support to all banquet outlets, such as preparation of banquet items.
  • Process all correspondences, minutes of the meetings, reports, memos, action plans, weekly planners, menus, F&B forecast, gift vouchers and other relevant documents.
  • Perform related duties and special projects as assigned by the Director of Banquet.
  • Manage hotel and banquet events’ flower arrangement and decoration according to Banquet Operations’ instructions.
  • Assist on other outlet duties as assigned by the Restaurant Manager, F&B Manager or F&B Management Team.
Requirements
  • 1‑3 years of experience in Banquet Operations.
  • Working proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • WSQ Follow Food & Beverage Safety and Hygiene Policies or other existing and/or new Workforce Skills Qualifications (WSQ).
